Prayer

We believe that prayer and meditation benefits the individual participant and all humanity and that the practice of a daily prayer and meditation is essential to living life as it should be lived. Prayer and meditation make the world a better place. The purpose of prayer and meditation is to help the participants get in touch with the Divine, to turn from the mundane to the spiritual, and to live a more positive life through the mindful daily practice of prayer.

Our prayer is communicating with the Divine through words or thoughts to make a request, to give praise, or thanks, or to ask forgiveness. Meditation is a practice of concentrated focus upon a sound, object, visualization, or breath in order to quiet our minds so that we may feel the presence of the Divine.

Meditation and prayer are closely related, so both can be used to elevate consciousness that hearts and minds might open to receive spiritual guidance, grace, healing and a greater awareness of the Divine that is our truest nature.
